- Product Description
This brilliant item showcases an uncirculated 2010 National Parks Quarter along with the vintage unused postage stamp featuring Grand Canyon National Park. The colorful insert highlights this beautiful park and includes interesting facts and other educational features. The 4" x 6" hard acrylic case secures and protects the coin and postage stamp.
The Grand Canyon National Park Quarter is part of the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters Program TM, and is the fourth quarter in the series. The park was established in 1893 and the quarter design proudly displays a striking image of the granaries, used by native peoples for storing foods and seeds, overlooking the Nankoweap Delta in Marble Canyon near the Colorado River.

As an Arizonian the Grand Canyon National Park AZ Coin & Stamp set is very important and dear to my heart. This product not only captures the beauty of the Grand Canyon which I have visited twice in the last year and a half, but it also is quite factual with it's information. The coin itself was stunningly designed and accurately portrays one of the most famous and beautiful views of the Grand Canyon rim and the retro stamp just screams history and the southwest. The stamp reminds me of how old The Grand Canyon is and the history of pioneers, presidents such as Theodore Roosevelt, and the Native Americans who lived there and still work and strive to preserve The Grand Canyon's great beauty for future generations. This coin set is filled with historical fact, but also evokes a feeling of connection with American heritage and history. It is a great addition to any National Park Coin collection or any fans of the southwest!
