- Product Description
Thousands of years ago, glaciers carved their way through Montana, and glaciers continue to make their mark on Montana today. On the 2011 quarter, the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds towers in the distance while in the foreground stands a sure-footed mountain goat atop a rocky outgrowth. The words GLACIER, MONTANA, 2011, and E PLURIBUS UNUM are also inscribed along the edge of the quarter.
Many of the nation's collectors and American history enthusiasts seek the added value of a pristine uncirculated quarter from each mint. As circulated quarters continue to be difficult to find, these collections will become a premium item. The Glacier quarter is scheduled to be released in April. It will be the second of the 2011 National Parks Quarters. Our collection will feature both a P and D minted quarter affixed to a 5"x5" trifold card packed with interesting information, fascinating history and vibrant images. These collections make the entire series fit seamlessly together creating a comprehensive and valuable treasure for families and collectors alike
