Olympic National Park protects snow-capped mountains at dizzying altitudes, acres of rain forests, and miles of sandy Pacific shoreline; it is a national park of “Olympic” proportions. Also printed on the edges of the coin are the words OLYMPIC, WASHINGTON, 2011, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
