Presidential Dollar Sets

Each year, the U.S. Mint creates a special edition of the presidential dollars in circulation. The coins are made from special rounds, using special dies and an exclusive minting process that involves multiple strikes. The result is a series of coins legendary for their sharp relief and frosted features on a mirror-like field. Their frosted, sculpted foregrounds give them a special "cameo" effect, created by the exacting proof process.
