The Acadia National Park Quarter’s reverse shows a view of the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse and Acadia's rough coastline, highlighting the coastline, the lighthouse, the pine trees and the ocean. Acadia National Park was established as a national site on July 8, 1916 and is the third quarter of 2012. The quarter is part of the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters Program TM.
