State Quarter Program

For the past 10 years, the U.S. Mint has released five new quarters with a specially-minted reverse that honors one of the 50 states. This program started in 1999 and continued through 2008. In 2009, the U.S. Mint honored the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories as well. A great way to collect the U.S. Quarters is with our State and U.S. Quarter Collections, which contain two quarters in a colorful and informative display card.
